We are recruiting for a senior tax advisor to deliver high quality advice to a varied client base. You will be either ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified and have previous experience working within practice. The role is office based but will require travel as and when required to meet with clients - you will therefore be required to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. This is a senior level tax role and will combine hands-on technical tax work, advisory and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tax advisory projects including inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax planning and compliance, VAT advice, Stamp duty land tax advice
- Manage all HMRC enquiries and investigations
- Work closely with managers and partners to ensure technically accurate and commercially sound advice is delivered
- Review tax returns prepared by junior staff
- Mentor junior staff members
- Maintain and build client relationships
- Keep up to date with all tax legislations and meet CPD requirements
