We are supporting our client recruit a Fire Safety Advisor on a part time, contract basis. The position will be site based in Middlesborough and require 2-3 days per week for up to 3 months. As a Fire Safety Advisor in the Fire Safety Team, you will be responsible for providing expert and specialist fire safety advice and guidance. You will play a key role in developing and implementing monitoring and measuring systems to ensure legislative compliance and progress against the annual health and safety action plan and work closely with colleagues to support backlog maintenance work, refurbishment works and new build construction projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Producing fire safety reports
  • Investigating fire related incidents
  • Keeping accurate records of incidents and suspicious circumstances
  • Best practice advice
  • Assessing potential risk
  • Analysing fire drawings

Skills/Experience:

  • Fire safety qualification
  • NEBOSH
  • Knowledge of HTM05
