A Housing Association is currently looking for a Universal Credit Administrator on a temporary basis for about 6 weeks.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the welfare benefits team, completing and recording universal credit verifications following the April annual rent increases for residents.
  • Accurately verify high volumes of incoming Universal Credit verifications.
  • Record verification details on the Proxsys system.
  • Liaise with housing management teams, the universal credit lead, and other relevant staff to ensure that any issues with verifications are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist with monitoring the universal credit mailbox and with forwarding/recording verifications received via the mailbox.
  • Ensure housing costs are verified with Universal Credit for our residents via the landlord portal.
  • Contact residents who have not reported their rent increase on time.
  • Follow up with housing officers to ensure updates to data are completed.

PAYE £17.69 Umbrella £23.40

Essential requirements:

  • Must have a good administrative background, ideally in Housing.
  • Experience of Universal Credit would be advantageous.
  • Must be immediately available or on short notice.
