Hybrid: 3-5 days in London office

Our client is a fast-scaling SaaS startup modernising how food and consumer goods brands buy their ingredients, tackling a $1 trillion+ market inefficiency built on outdated, manual supply chains. Their AI-powered platform brings automated ordering, predictive forecasting, supplier matching and embedded credit to SMB brands.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of account management and operational improvement, supported by AI automation. You'll own a portfolio of accounts end-to-end, taking ownership of their onboarding, supplier negotiations, logistics, compliance and reporting on operational metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipating issues before they land in your inbox and acting as first point of contact for orders, deliveries, payments and platform queries
  • Speaking directly with suppliers to finalise orders, pricing and terms, and manage customer credit limits and clearance decisions
  • Prompt, configure and maintain the AI agents running your accounts' routine workflows, knowing when to let the agent run versus step in yourself
  • Continuously identify the next piece of your own workload worth automating, and build it
  • Monitor operational metrics and drive process improvements with product and tech

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years managing multiple stakeholders and processes at once, in a Customer Success, Ops, Account Management, Purchasing, or Logistics role
  • Hands-on comfort with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT, ideally with a workflow, prompt or automation you've built to make your own job easier
  • Comfort with real commercial conversations around negotiating price and holding a credit line, not just administering someone else's decisions
  • A detail-obsessed, ownership-driven mindset
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, bringing structure where others see chaos
