The Role: We are seeking a recent or soon-to-be graduate keen to start a career in the financial services sector. The Market Data Analyst will be joining the Managed Services team in our growing Belfast office, partnering with senior staff to deliver industry-leading services across multiple clients. In this role, you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience with some of the strategic projects across Managed Services; from robotic process automation, data visualisation and advanced data analytics to system migrations.
Responsibilities:
- Market Data Administration: Maintain accurate market data inventory across multiple clients, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Invoice Management: Process, reconcile and validate complex market data invoices, supporting cost control and vendor negotiations.
- Client & Vendor Engagement: Build strong working relationships with clients and vendors, acting as a trusted point of contact for queries and issue resolution.
- Service Delivery: Ensure all managed services meet agreed SLAs and client expectations, providing timely and accurate reporting.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and standardisation, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Documentation: Create and maintain client-specific documentation, workflows and best practices.
- Strategic Projects: Participate in projects such as system migrations, RPA implementation and advanced data analytics to enhance service delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with data visualisation tools is a plus.
- Interest in financial markets, market data and subscription cost management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Interest in, or familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
