What you'll do

  • Map as-is processes, systems, data feeds and reporting across nine outsourced service categories
  • Interview and shadow stakeholders to document friction, cost and risk in the current model
  • Quantify complexity and attach cost to it - rate plans, workarounds, bespoke reports
  • Triangulate invoices and internal data to build a credible cost-per-subscriber view
  • Maintain the relationship with the outsource partner throughout discovery

What you'll deliver

  • Service catalogue, process maps, pain-point register, complexity inventory, baseline metrics pack, system/data feed inventory and a 10–15 page steering group summary

Must-have

  • Technical BA experience across systems, integrations and data - not only process diagrams
  • Track record on a subscription, circulation or BPO-exit programme in publishing, media or financial services
  • Strong process mapping, finance literacy (deferred revenue, reconciliations, VAT) and stakeholder skills
