🚀 Contract Opportunity: AI Engineer (Generative AI Focus)

Location: Fully Remote (UK-based only)

Rate: £550 – £600 per day (Outside IR35, DOE)

Contract Length: 3 – 6 Months

Start Date: 29th May

We’re partnering with a leading consultancy to find an experienced AI Engineer for a cutting edge Generative AI project. This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of Gen AI, contributing to the design and implementation of cutting-edge systems using LLMs, agentic workflows, and scalable backend services.

You\’ll be joining a small, highly collaborative team where innovation and autonomy are encouraged. You’ll be working alongside top-tier talent, where high standards mean you’ll be continuously learning and growing.

🔧 What You’ll Bring:

• A solid background in Python engineering, ideally within AI/ML or modern backend environments
• Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) using tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph
• Familiarity with vector databases for embedding and indexing operations
• Proficiency with modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Strong experience with cloud platforms — GCP or AWS preferred

🌟 Nice to have:

• Previous work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Background in machine learning-driven projects
• Experience developing or scaling data-heavy applications
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and dev workflows
