AI Engineer
Location: London (Onsite – 5 days per week)
Type: Permanent
Salary: £200,000 + generous equity package

I'm hiring for two YC-backed startups building foundational AI infrastructure – one focused on advancing reasoning capabilities, the other on streamlining how teams deploy and monitor models in production.
What we're looking for:
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Founding engineer mindset with ownership mentality
- Series A-C scale-up experience (ideally in fast-growth environments)
Role 1: AI Engineer
- Expert-level Python with exposure to frontend technologies (TypeScript/React preferred)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks
- Ability to ship AI-powered features end-to-end
- Minimum 3 years of experience
Role 2: Applied AI Engineer
- Strong backend engineering experience (Python preferred)
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git workflows
- Experience building RAG pipelines and AI agent orchestration systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience
