Treyd is a fast-growing B2B fintech redefining how product brands finance growth. Our unique "sell first, pay suppliers later" model helps businesses unlock cash flow across the entire working capital cycle, turning working capital from a growth constraint into a competitive advantage. Founded in 2020, we have served more than 1,600 product brands across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics. Backed by more than SEK 300 million in equity funding, we have built a resilient business with strong unit economics and consistent, capital-efficient growth. Today, we are a team of +45 people with offices in Stockholm, London and Cairo.

Having established a leading position in the market, we are now entering our most ambitious phase yet, with profitability targeted for 2026, a planned Series B and international expansion. We are becoming an agentic company. Our next-generation product, Treyd ONE, brings payables, receivables, treasury and credit together into one unified working capital platform for product brands. The next step is to recruit the person who will own and evolve our underwriting agents. Working at the intersection of credit, product and AI, the role will define how agentic systems are built across the company. This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal moment and help shape the future of financial services.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the underwriting agents
  • Take full ownership of the agents and of how decisions are made, challenged and improved over time
  • Own the decision flow, tool use, guardrails, escalation, and where humans stay in the loop
  • Act as the bridge between credit, product and AI
  • Set the standard for how agents are built at Treyd

Translate credit expertise into agentic systems

  • Convert complex credit analysis into agent workflows, evaluation frameworks and decision logic
  • Build systems that can reason through messy real-world data, edge cases and non-standard situations
  • Encode the judgement of experienced underwriters into scalable decision systems

Prove quality and drive improvement

  • Build evaluation frameworks that make agent quality visible, measurable and comparable over time
  • Test decisions against historical cases, real world outcomes and evolving business needs
  • Create feedback loops that continuously improve performance and build confidence in agent driven decision making

Own how Treyd builds agents

  • Over time, own the craft and standards by which all Treyd agents are built
  • Expand agent capabilities beyond underwriting into sales, customer success, compliance and operations
  • Turn Treyd's proprietary data and underwriting expertise into a lasting competitive advantage

Skills & Requirements

Must have

  • Strong credit and financial reasoning - either real depth in credit / risk / underwriting, or adjacent background with the analytical horsepower to get there fast
  • Hands-on track record of building AI agents that solved real problems and drove measurable business impact - shipped, not theorized
  • An instinct for measurement - you reach for evals, ground truth and backtests to know whether something works, not just whether it looks right

Nice to have

  • Experience from scale-ups or international environments
  • Exposure to credit, lending, e-commerce finance or working-capital products
  • Background as a builder or founder in an AI/agent product
