A well-established, PE-backed provider of post-trade technology is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of its next generation Data & Analytics product suite. The business supports many of the world's leading financial institutions and has built a significant repository of capital markets data across complex post-trade workflows. As investment continues across analytics, intelligence and AI-enabled capabilities, the firm is looking for an experienced Product Manager who understands how to transform financial market data into valuable products used by institutional clients. This is a high-profile role with significant influence over product direction, working at the intersection of data, analytics, product strategy and capital markets.
The Role
You will own the roadmap for a growing portfolio of Data & Analytics products, working closely with engineering, data and commercial teams to deliver solutions that help clients extract greater value from complex datasets. The role will involve identifying new opportunities for analytics, intelligence and AI-driven capabilities, whilst ensuring products solve real-world challenges faced by market participants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing the Data & Analytics product strategy
- Identifying opportunities to commercialise and enhance existing data assets
- Leading product discovery with clients and industry stakeholders
- Translating business requirements into clear product outcomes and delivery plans
- Working closely with engineering and data teams to build scalable data products
- Prioritising product investment and managing the roadmap
- Supporting go-to-market activities and acting as a subject matter expert for the product suite
- Contributing to the firm's long-term AI and advanced analytics strategy
Required Experience
This role requires an individual who has built Data & Analytics products specifically within capital markets. Candidates should demonstrate experience developing products that leverage financial market data and deliver measurable value to institutional users. Relevant experience may include:
- Data platforms, data lakes or data lakehouse environments
- Data lineage, governance and data quality initiatives
- Analytics, reporting and business intelligence solutions
- Client-facing dashboards and decision-support tools
- Market, transaction, operational, risk or post-trade data products
- Securities finance, collateral, repo, clearing, settlement, market infrastructure or broader capital markets workflows
Ideal Profile
Minimum 5 years Product Management experience within capital markets technology/ data. Applicants at VP/ Director level will be considered. Proven track record building and launching data-driven products for institutional financial markets. Strong understanding of modern data architectures and data product development. Experience working closely with engineering, architecture and data teams. Excellent stakeholder management and product discovery skills. Ability to balance commercial opportunities with technical delivery considerations.
Experience with AI, machine learning or advanced analytics products would be advantageous. However, deep experience building Data & Analytics products within capital markets is considered significantly more important than a pure AI background.
