The Team
The Prime Services Sales team is expanding and is seeking a senior, London-based salesperson with deep experience in institutional prime brokerage. The role will focus on originating, developing, and expanding relationships with hedge funds, family offices, and wealth managers across key markets.
Role Overview
This is a senior, front-office sales role responsible for driving new prime brokerage relationships and growing existing institutional client accounts. You will cover the full sales lifecycle, from initial origination and structuring discussions through onboarding and long-term client development. The role requires strong product knowledge across prime brokerage and the ability to engage with sophisticated investment managers on financing, execution, and broader prime solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and develop new prime brokerage relationships with hedge funds, family offices, and wealth managers
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of institutional clients across multiple strategies and geographies
- Develop deep knowledge of the firm’s prime brokerage offering, including financing, margining, execution, and associated services
- Lead client discussions from initial pitch through commercial negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing coverage
- Partner closely with internal teams (onboarding, operations, risk, product, and technology) to deliver a seamless client experience
- Grow existing client relationships by increasing wallet share and displacing incumbent prime providers
- Support regional and global sales strategies aimed at expanding the firm’s institutional prime footprint
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and targeted client forums
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of sales processes, controls, and operating efficiency
