A well-established capital markets technology firm is looking to hire a Product Operations Lead to help scale and optimise its Product Management function. The role will sit centrally across Product and Engineering, owning the product operating model, improving delivery governance, and driving consistency across roadmap planning, prioritisation, and execution. This is a newly created position reporting into senior product leadership, working across multiple product streams within a complex enterprise SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and evolving the Product Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC) across intake, discovery, prioritisation, delivery, and release processes
- Implementing scalable governance and operational frameworks across Product teams
- Driving prioritisation methodologies such as WSJF, RICE, or similar frameworks
- Building reporting dashboards and product health metrics around delivery predictability, backlog quality, capacity utilisation, and roadmap confidence
- Supporting quarterly and annual planning processes across Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders
- Managing and optimising tooling across Jira, Confluence, and related workflow platforms
- Improving collaboration and operational alignment across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Delivery functions
- Leading adoption of AI tooling within product workflows, including automation, documentation generation, backlog analysis, and productivity improvements
- Establishing best practice standards, onboarding processes, and operational consistency across Product teams
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Product Operations, Product PMO, Product Enablement, or a similar operational leadership role within an enterprise SaaS environment
- Strong experience implementing structured product governance and prioritisation frameworks
- Deep familiarity with Agile product delivery environments
- Advanced Jira and Confluence experience, including workflows, reporting, dashboards, and roadmap tooling
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with experience defining KPIs and delivery metrics
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Client Services, and commercial stakeholders
- Ability to introduce process and governance without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to AI tooling and workflow automation within Product organisations is highly desirable
- Any familiarity with capital markets, post-trade, collateral management, or financial technology environments would be advantageous
