This is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. Trevett Services are delighted to be working with a Midlands based public sector organisation to make the key appointment of Project Manager. Working within a busy Estates Department, this is a client-side role supporting a large capital programme.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of multiple Refurbishment, Redevelopment and Alteration projects ranging in value from ÂŁ100k - ÂŁ5m. Working closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.
Key Duties:- Deliver multiple inception to completion projects ranging in value from £100k – £5m.
- Monitor project costs throughout the project and provide cost control support.
- Monitor project timescales, working closely with partners ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Regular and on-going assessment of the overall performance of contractors used on site.
- Delivering capital projects in either a client-side or client’s consultant Project Manager role.
- Experience of JCT Minor Works.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
£47k – £55k per annum. Very generous package to include “market leading” annual leave and pension.
