As a Multi Trade Operative, you will carry out property repairs and maintenance across multiple sites throughout the Midlands. Based from Worcester office, you will travel between sites across Lincolnshire, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Northampton and Coventry. This is a mobile role, so flexibility and a willingness to travel across the full contract area are essential.
What You’ll Deliver
- Carry out a wide range of property repairs and maintenance works to a high standard
- Undertake carpentry repairs and basic joinery works
- Complete minor plumbing repairs and installations
- Carry out patch plastering, tiling and decorating repairs where required
- Diagnose faults and complete effective, long-lasting repairs
- Support a broad range of general property maintenance duties
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
- Deliver works across multiple sites in line with operational requirements
- Maintain your own tools and equipment in a safe and suitable condition
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality and customer service standards
About You
- You will be an experienced Multi Trade Operative with practical experience across a range of property maintenance disciplines and the flexibility to work across multiple sites.
- Competent in carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering and general building repairs
- Ability to diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs
- Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- CSCS card
- Own tools
- Willingness to travel extensively across the contract area
- Flexibility to support varying site and working requirements
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and required security clearance
Physical Requirements
This role requires flexibility; you will be comfortable travelling extensively and working across a variety of sites and environments. You may at times be required to work at height, in confined spaces or on uneven ground, and to use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively. You will be willing to undertake different types of work, adapt to changing site requirements and work flexible hours when projects require earlier or later attendance.
