Senior Project Manager / Contracts Manager – M&E

Location: East Midlands Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 DOE + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits Contract: Permanent Start: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Contracts Manager to join an established business delivering a major M&E project in the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project professional with a strong mechanical and electrical background to take responsibility for a large-scale, technically complex project from the pre-construction stages through to delivery and completion.

The Role

You will be responsible for

  • Leading the project from pre-commencement through to construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, commercial performance and key milestones.
  • Overseeing M&E and building services packages.
  • Managing subcontractors, supply chain partners and project teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, programme constraints and delivery issues.
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Providing regular project progress and commercial reporting.
  • Ensuring all health & safety, compliance and project governance requirements are maintained.

About You

We are looking for someone with

  • A strong M&E / building services background.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager or similar.
  • Experience managing large-scale and technically complex projects.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical project delivery knowledge.
  • Experience working within live or operational environments
  • Strong commercial and programme management experience.
  • Excellent client, stakeholder and supply chain management skills.
  • The ability to manage a project from pre-construction through to completion.

This is a full-time, site-based position in the East Midlands, with an immediate start available and a strong pipeline of future projects across the wider Midlands region.

Package: £75,000 – £85,000 DOE, plus car allowance/company car, pension, healthcare and additional company benefits
