A brand new vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion and contract expansion as a Technical Supervisor. It will be a No.2 role to the current Technical Manager on a very large, global Data Centre contract.
Responsibilities
- Technical assistance to the M&E shift teams for breakdowns.
- Permit authorisation.
- Compliance / logbooks responsibility.
- Technical onsite training (site scenario testing, HV Competency testing).
- View to being SAP (No.2) for site in future.
- Role is 8 til 5 M-F (maybe some O/T, or occasional flexible hours to work around demand).
Qualifications
- Must be practicing HV switching, current HV qualification.
- 18th Edition 2nd amendment.
- Level 3 / equivalent electrical qualification.
- Experience in Data Centres.
- Site HV appointment within first 90 days.

The site has approx. 500+ HV switches, 50+ transformers, 20+ HV DRUPS. These details illustrate the scale of HV activity on site.
