Location: North Middlesex (Healthcare Environment)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary until week ending 22nd February 2026

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am - 7pm

Hourly Rate: £17.07 p/h - £19.17 p/h through Umbrella only - NO CIS

Role Purpose

The Fabric Technician will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works to the building fabric and associated assets within a university hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive fabric maintenance across the site
  • Undertake minor installation, repair and other internal works such as:
  • Fire Door PPM's
  • Door maintenance and repairs
  • Window repairs
  • Floor repairs
  • Wall repair and patch work
  • Painting and Decorating

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Fabric Engineering Trained/ Certified
  • Hold a CURRENT Basic DBS
  • Health & safety training
  • Power tool use trained
  • Physically capable of working at height, in confined spaces and carrying tools and materials up to 25kg

  • Safety Shoes
  • Gloves
