Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established Maintenance Service Provider to make the key appointment of Senior Mechanical Estimator. Based in NW London with a salary £80k – £100k.

Reporting to the Head of Estimating, the Senior Mechanical Estimator will play a crucial role in analysing project specifications and preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical building services projects. Working closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the Senior Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.

Key Duties:

  • Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs & cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Evaluate potential risks and opportunities in project estimates.
  • Present estimates to management and participate in bid reviews.
  • Monitor project costs throughout the project and provide cost control support.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Estimator (Maintenance and Installation).
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
