Job Description

Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – London – £70k – £75k + senior benefits\\n\\nTrevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established Maintenance Service Provider to make the key appointment of Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor.\\n\\nWorking in one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, the Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will report to the Project Director, supporting the Agile Works and Projects Teams at key stages so accurate cost and contract advice is provided. Additionally, the Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with the management responsibility for a team of Quantity Surveyors, Assistant & Trainee Quantity Surveyors.\\n\\nWorking closely with the Projects Teams which generally deliver high volume low value works from £5k to £3m respectively. The Agile Works is primarily through a measured term contract utilising the PSA schedule of Rates & the Projects Team works are delivered via NEC3 or 4 or JCT fixed price.\\n\\nMain Responsibilities:\\n\\nPreparation of pre-tender estimates / cost planning.\\n\\nTaking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants Pre & Post tender.\\n\\nCompilation of tender packs including managing queries from tendering contractors.\\n\\nReview of tender returns and cost alignment ensuring compliance with tender documentation including preparation of contract recommendation reports.\\n\\nCompletion & updating of NEC3 activity schedules.\\n\\nCarry out take offs and site measurement for material procurement and final accounts.\\n\\nCheck and approval of all MTC pre-measures and final accounts.\\n\\nAbout you:\\n\\nYou will hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).\\n\\nHave previously held a Senior QS position with either an M&E Service Provider or Contractor.\\n\\nHave experience with Maintenance and Service Contracts.\\n\\nHave experience of JCT, NEC3 and ideally NEC4 forms of contract.\\n\\nBe proficient in the full Microsoft Office package.\\n\\nPossess good technical knowledge and understanding of M&E works.\\n\\nMy client is looking for a well organised and self-starting Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\\n\\n***Due to the location of work, this role will be subject to security clearance.\\n\\nFor more information please contact Marcus May
