The role involves leading the delivery of a number of unique projects, ranging from refurbishments to new builds. You will work closely with your peers and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of substantial, high-value projects within a large and diverse estate. A significant amount of investment has been approved to deliver a wide range of interesting projects over the next 4-6 years, and you will play an integral part in this process.
The Senior Project Manager will have knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, and other project management-related software and tools, as well as broad senior project management experience gathered from various industries, enabling best practices to be applied and the ability to challenge the status quo.
Ideal Candidate
You will either be educated to degree level in a construction-related discipline or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience in a professional environment. It is desirable that you understand and have delivered projects with a recognised management framework, such as RICS, CIOB, Agile Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, or possess a transferrable skillset. Essential knowledge includes Microsoft Project, Asta, Visio, and other project management-related software and tools, as well as MS Office packages. Experience in construction projects and an understanding of the construction process is also essential.
