The Role
They are looking for experienced Carpenter Joiners to join their team, working across a variety of refurbishment and maintenance contracts throughout the Catterick region. Projects span several sectors, including healthcare, hospitality, education, defence and social housing, offering a diverse and rewarding workload. The Carpenter Joiner will carry out a wide range of first and second fix joinery tasks as part of a skilled and professional team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out first and second fix joinery on refurbishment and fit-out projects.
- Install and fit kitchens, doors, door frames, skirting boards, architraves, window boards, and flooring.
- Undertake partitioning, boxing-in, and general carpentry repairs.
- Fit ironmongery and carry out any required adjustments.
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with site safety requirements.
- Work independently or as part of a team, maintaining good communication with site supervisors, clients, and other trades.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area at all times.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), or qualified by time served in Carpentry & Joinery.
- Proven experience in refurbishment, fit-out, or maintenance joinery (not new build).
- Competent in both first and second fix joinery tasks.
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Catterick region.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently under minimal supervision.
