We are seeking an experienced and confident Mobile Electrical Working Supervisor to join a growing technical team with one of our Specialist Electrical Contractors. This role covers multiple sites across the Reading, Oxford, London, M3/M4 corridor and Midlands regions. You must be comfortable working within Prison environments, willing to travel, and possess a strong, assertive personality suited to leading and developing a team of electricians.
This is a hands-on supervisory position, with around 60% of your time spent on the tools and 40% allocated to overseeing, and supporting your team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day supervision of a team of electricians across multiple sites
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works
- Support with job planning, task allocation and ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures and site compliance are followed
- Act as the first point of contact for electrical queries and on-site coordination
- Assist with testing, inspecting, and general electrical works as required
- Travel across designated regions to support operational needs
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- SSSTS
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Test & Inspect β desirable
