Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to work with one of our global professional services and investment management clients, to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across commercial retail and office sites throughout North London, Watford, Hertfordshire and Berkshire.
Reporting into the local management team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing a wide range of air conditioning and associated mechanical systems. This is a mobile role, requiring a professional, client-facing approach and the ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems
- Attend breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently
- Undertake installations, retrofits and system replacements where required
- Work on Split systems, VRF/VRV, AHUs, DX systems and some central plant
- Complete remedial works and produce quotations following service visits
- Accurately complete F-Gas documentation and update site logbooks
- Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety regulations
- Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota

Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration
- C&G 2079 Category 1
- Valid F-Gas certification
- Strong mechanical and electrical background
- Experience within commercial environments
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety compliance
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT literate (Outlook, Word, CAFM systems)
Desirable:
- Basic building fabric knowledge and minor reactive fabric repairs
- Experience working across retail and office portfolios
