Mechanical Site Manager

Job Title: Mechanical Site Manager Location: Southampton Contract Length: 8 Weeks Start Date: 1st June Company: Global Facilities Management Provider Rate: £280.00 a day (CIS/Umbrella) Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Site Manager to join a leading global FM provider on a high-profile project based in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected name in the industry, overseeing mechanical works across a live site for an initial 8-week period, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day-to-day mechanical operations and manage subcontractors on-site * Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project specifications * Conduct site inspections, monitor quality standards, and ensure compliance with H&S regulations * Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery * Review method statements, risk assessments, and site documentation * Attend and lead site progress meetings Requirements: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within the FM, M&E, or construction sector * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services * SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain high safety standards * Experience on live sites preferred What’s on Offer: * Opportunity to work with a globally recognised FM provider * High-profile site with strong team support * Potential for contract extension or future opportunities within the business How to Apply: If you\’re an experienced Mechanical Site Manager available immediately or on short notice and looking for your next contract role, please apply with your CV or get in touch for more information
