Trevett Services are currently searching for an Electrician on a permanent basis with a world leader in multi-technical installation and maintenance. The role is based across the Manchester area, servicing public buildings and carrying out maintenance and minor installation works.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of electrical tasks including replacing consumer units, installing final sub-circuit wiring, fault finding, replacing sockets and switches, and replacing light fittings.
- Undertake testing and inspection works in line with BS7671 regulations.
- Carry out fault finding and remedial works.
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with SFG20 specifications.
- Achieve first-time fixes where possible.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and head office teams.
- Manage materials effectively and ensure van stock is maintained and utilised correctly.
About You
Essential
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical / NVQ Level 3 & AM2
- 18th Edition qualification.
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (Desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
- Experience carrying out electrical maintenance and minor works within commercial environments.
- Experience working within large commercial buildings, heritage properties, or Grade Listed buildings.
- Ability to work independently and provide a high standard of customer service.
