Our client is a national Tier-1 FM Service Provider who operates across a number of Healthcare contracts. We are recruiting now for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the Water Engineering Management function and to be in the role of the Authorising Engineer (Water). As the Authorising Engineer (Water), you will be part of the Centralised Technical Team providing expert advice and leadership to the Water Engineering teams across the business unit, ensuring outstanding levels of compliance, standards and safety.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the effective management and adherence to appropriate Water Hygiene standards by our operational teams. The candidate will be responsible for delivering technical training, conducting audits, undertaking assessments of RPs, and appointing RPs and CPs as dictated by the company’s safety rules, (S)HTM, 04-01 and L8. Compliance assurance is a key aspect of the role, requiring the post holder to conduct multi-site Technical and Authorising Engineer audits.
The role is regional, covering the sites in the North of England, and regular travel to sites is required as part of the role including overnight stays as required.
