Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with a leading Security Systems and Solutions organization to make the key appointment of Commercial Manager (& Project Delivery). Reporting to the Managing Director, the Commercial Manager (& Project Delivery) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for all commercial and project delivery activities, including installation technical resources, training and upskilling, sub-contractor network management, and site Health & Safety. The role ensures robust governance, margin protection, risk mitigation, and operational excellence, setting standards and frameworks while empowering teams to execute day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the commercial governance framework for all projects, setting standards and ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure contractual reviews, negotiations, applications for payment, variation orders, and final account settlements are managed effectively by the commercial and project delivery teams.
  • Oversee credit checks and cashflow management, ensuring processes are followed and risks are mitigated.
  • Lead/develop the operational project delivery teams to achieve revenue/profit margin objectives.
  • Set expectations for project progress, risk identification, and resolution, with PMs responsible for execution.

About you:

  • You will have held a Senior Commercial Management role within a small/medium sized business.
  • You will have a Quantity Surveying and/or Project Management background.
  • You will have managed and developed teams of Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors.
  • You will ideally have experience of Security Systems/Solutions (Doors, Access etc.) not essential.
