Job Description

Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established Maintenance Service Provider to make the key appointment of Head of HR.\\n\\nBased in North London with a salary £80k – £100k + senior benefits\\n\\nReporting to the board of directors, the Managing Director and the Chair, the Head of HR will plan, develop and implement organisational development, whilst overseeing and supporting the wider HR team. Additionally, the Head of HR will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the company’s strategic goals.\\n\\nThe client:\\n\\nAn established FM Property and Maintenance Service Provider, my client is a family-owned business founded in the late 80s. Over the past 30+ years, they have gone from strength to strength, and are on an impressive trajectory.\\n\\nDuties:\\n\\n * Provide consultation and support in all HR practices: employee engagement, total compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning and strategic workforce planning.\\n\\n * Partner & develop trusting relationships with all departmental leaders & senior management\\n\\n * Serve as a key leader within the organisation partnering with other department leaders in Legal, Finance, Information Technology and various other company departments and with Sector Leaders.\\n\\n * Manage and oversee HR policies and procedures consistent with company objectives and applicable employment law.\\n\\n * Work with leadership to proactively identify HR issues and creative solutions to support the business needs.\\n\\nAbout you:\\n\\n * Master's degree in HR or CIPD Level 7 qualification.\\n\\n * Minimum 5 years' HR generalist experience, preferably in engineering.\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance.\\n\\n * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\\n\\n * Experience with HR software and Microsoft Office.\\n\\nAs the Head of HR will effectively be responsible for the whole Human Resources department, my client is seeking a highly organised Head of HR with the ability to work effectively under pressure and who is able to develop and nurture a young team.\\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to join an organisation that is on the upward trajectory and winning some fantastic and very high-profile contracts across the capital.\\n\\nFor more information, please contact Marcus May
