We are working with a reputable Building Services and FM Organisation who are looking to bring on a Contract Supervisor to cover one of their heritage contracts based in the City Centre.

Job purpose: As a Contract Supervisor, you will be responsible for undertaking the day-to-day running of the contract and building whilst supervising a team of technical engineers. You will be required to answer queries, report any defects, and keep the client informed of site activities at the time of the service visit. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work. You will be leading a team of technical engineers across a commercial contract, dealing with clients, carrying out reports, dealing with quotations and more.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising a team of technical engineers and dealing with contractual issues.
  • Relevant qualifications required e.g. C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical as well as holding an 18th Edition if electrically qualified.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and Safe Systems of Working.
  • Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are important, including the ability to use a mobile device.
  • Experience in a previous contract supervisor position or experience previously leading a team.
