A global DC organisation requires a Technical Manager to take the helm of a major DC in the Docklands area. Ideally you will have mission critical facilities experience and relevant M&E qualifications which are essential for this post.

Working closely with the Engineering team, the Technical Manager role will be assisting the Technical Services Manager for all day-to-day maintenance activities, including the Specialist Subcontractors, Suppliers and other support teams. The Technical Manager will be appointed for HV Electrical Systems.

Key Tasks:
  • Logbook systems, maintaining statutory compliance monitoring, reactive task assignment.
  • Risk Management Framework, through the effective management of SOP, MOP and EOP.
  • Working to gain SAP level for HV.
  • Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective and efficient manner (including HV isolations/operations), having due regard to business risk and energy use.
  • Making recommendations for improvement and providing concise technical reports when required.
  • Technical development of all members of the engineering team to drive improvements in engineering competency.
  • Attend weekly operations meetings, client meetings, and other relevant discussions.
