Based in Bristol, Trevett Services are working with the UK’s largest engineering and services business, which has been in operation for over 100 years. Our client is looking to recruit an electrical shift engineer to join their team working on a new university building.
The Role:
As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for covering all electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive in a university environment. Being client facing is a must as you will be dealing with clients on a day-to-day basis. Typical duties include:
- Fault-finding
- Small installations
- Control panels
- Power distribution
- Lamping
- Ballast changes
- Emergency lighting testing/maintenance
- AHU & FCU maintenance
- And much more.
Shift Pattern:
You will be working on a 4 on 3 off shift pattern, with the working hours as follows: Earliest start will be 07:30, and the latest finish will be 20:00. When you work on a weekday, you will do a 10-hour shift. When you work on the weekend, you will do an 8-hour shift. There is a 1 in 3 call out; you will only be on call out if you’re not working on a weekend that week. £120 for standby.
