Role Overview
Trevett Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Mobile Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider, covering Manchester and the wider North West region. This is a mobile role supporting a portfolio of retail, fast food, and commercial sites, delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of building services systems. The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (18th Edition) with additional experience in air conditioning and commercial gas systems, offering a well-rounded, multi-skilled approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
- Service, fault find, and repair air conditioning systems (splits, VRV/VRF)
- Perform maintenance and compliance checks on commercial gas systems
- Undertake electrical maintenance, including fault finding and minor works
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all work is completed in line with SLA/KPI expectations
- Accurately complete job reports and documentation
- Liaise with clients and provide a high level of customer service
- Support compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- NVQ / City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical discipline
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- F-Gas / Air Conditioning qualification
- Commercial Gas Tickets (COCN1 or equivalent)
- Proven experience working within a mobile FM / building services role
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience working within retail or fast food environments
- Additional building services qualifications
