Trevett Services are looking for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer on a growing contract with one of our largest Facilities Services clients. The role is for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support a portfolio of sites: corporate, commercial and educational, across the Cambridge region. The patch spans from Bishop Stortford, Chelmsford and Colchester.
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial gas and associated mechanical systems within a range of environments including schools, educational facilities and commercial buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Deliver customer-focused PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas plant and associated mechanical systems.
- Ensure all works meet statutory, contractual and safety compliance requirements.
- Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on associated mechanical equipment including: Gas booster sets, Pressurisation units, Pressure vessels and Water heaters (vented and unvented).
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports.
- Liaise professionally with clients and site teams, clearly explaining required remedial actions.
- Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota (1 in 11).
- Support a team-based service delivery approach across the region.
- Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer within FM or commercial environments.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
- Gas Safe Registered.
- Current ACS qualifications including: CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A.
- Full UK Driving Licence (company vehicle provided).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Professional, personable approach when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. Overtime available.
