Were supporting aleading UK energy and engineering specialistdelivering complex mechanical works within a live healthcare estate. This is afreelance opportunityfor an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a critical project in Walsall, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery throughout.

The Role

Youll be responsible for theday-to-day supervision of mechanical works on site, coordinating labour and subcontractors while working closely with the wider project team in a live hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical operatives and subcontractors on site

• Coordinate daily activities to meet programme and quality requirements

• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and RAMS

• Maintain stricthealth & safety standardsin a live healthcare setting

• Liaise with the Project Manager, site teams, and hospital stakeholders

• Oversee quality control, snagging, and support testing & commissioning

• Manage materials, deliveries, and site logistics

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience as aMechanical Supervisor / Manageron construction or energy projects

• Strong background inHVAC, pipework, plant rooms, or mechanical installations

• Experience working in a live healthcare environment

• Confident managing labour, subcontractors, and site activities

• SMSTS, Managers CSCS card, and relevant mechanical qualifications
