We are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Services team delivering exceptional building maintenance at RTC Business Park, Derby (DE24 8UP). In this role, you’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation across a range of building services systems, ensuring our client receives the highest level of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service standards by monitoring performance and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks in line with agreed schedules, SLAs, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure all technician PPM and reactive works are completed to a high standard and within SLA timelines.
- Review and verify completed work and documentation for compliance with current legislation.
- Undertake costing and completion of reactive works identified through PPMs when required.
- Provide service support as part of a high-performing maintenance team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and site representatives through excellent communication and customer service.
- Assist in supervising subcontractor works to ensure health & safety standards are met.
- Complete all relevant documentation, including job sheets, certificates, and compliance forms.
About You
- Proven experience working in a building services maintenance environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding and maintenance skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 / AM1 / AM2 (or equivalent) Level 2 or 3 Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

- IOSH Working / Managing Safely
- Safe System of Work procedures (PTW, RAMS)
- L8 Water Hygiene Training
