Trevett Services are seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Multi-Skilled Engineer to support a prestigious, high-profile site in London. This is a predominantly electrical-focused, Day shift role, responsible for the maintenance, fault finding, and compliance of critical and general building services systems. The position requires a proactive, client-facing engineer capable of delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring statutory compliance and operational reliability.
You will work closely with the site team, client representatives, and specialist subcontractors to maintain optimal building performance, minimise downtime, and uphold the highest standards of safety and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across electrical and associated mechanical building services in line with agreed programmes and statutory requirements.
- Act as Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP), maintaining low voltage electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems.
- Carry out electrical fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and minor installation works as required.
- Support mechanical maintenance activities where necessary, ensuring continuity of service across the site.
- Monitor and improve service performance, escalating issues where required.
- Ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
- Supervise specialist subcontractors and ensure full adherence to Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work.
- Maintain accurate records, including job sheets, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client, their representatives, and internal stakeholders through professional service delivery.
- Recognised Electrical apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- LVAP Certification.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or critical building services environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and statutory compliance.
- Demonstrable experience in PPM, reactive maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
- Good communication skills with a professional, solutions-focused approach.
- HVAP experience or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience working on high-profile or critical sites.
- Knowledge of mechanical building services systems.
