Trevett Services are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established engineering team supporting a prestigious banking client in the City of London. This is a stable, long-term static contract that has been successfully delivered for over four years, offering genuine job security and career progression. The role involves maintaining high-quality mechanical services across three corporate tenanted floors within a premium commercial building.
This opportunity would suit a mechanically biased engineer who is reliable, adaptable, and comfortable supporting wider building services while enjoying a shift working pattern and strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and systems, including HVAC, pumps, and water services.
- Support general building services and fabric-related tasks across the site as required.
- Respond to call-outs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants.
- Work closely with on-site engineers and approved specialist subcontractors.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, site procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Solid hands-on experience carrying out mechanical maintenance tasks.
- Flexible, proactive approach with a willingness to support across disciplines.
- Good communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with banking or high-profile client environments.
- Experience working within commercial or corporate office environments.
