A leading national facilities management and building services provider is looking to appoint a Freelance Site Manager to support a programme of works across multiple sites along the South Coast. This is a 3-month contract starting ASAP, offering a varied workload across a well-established and growing account.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing works across multiple sites across Dorset, Hampshire and Kent. Projects will primarily involve the upgrade and construction of welfare facilities, alongside additional works such as office refurbishments and roofing projects. Project values will typically range from £50k to £600k, providing a fast-paced and diverse project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing site set-up, ensuring all documentation and site files are in place
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme
- Ensuring site compliance, segregation and adherence to health & safety standards
- Carrying out quality control checks and site audits throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting project delivery through to completion and demobilisation
