Trevella Jobs are recruiting for reliable and experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our partner. This is a vital role within our partner's organisation, ensuring that you are competent is a priority.
Duties:
- Load and unload waste materials using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure time is managed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid class 2 driver's license
- Refuge driving experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently on and off the vehicle with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as well as walk several miles per day if required to do so
