As our People Assistant, you'll provide essential support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to deliver a smooth and professional experience for our people. Your responsibilities will include: Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinating and undertaking new starter inductions and welcome packs.
  • Managing onboarding documentation and systems.
  • Handling leaver processes, including completing reference requests.

Training & Development

  • Supporting CPD and training plan creation.
  • Arranging leadership and continuing competence training.

Employee Records & Systems

  • Preparing offer letters, contracts, and other employment documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the People information system.
  • Logging absences, holidays, flexi-time, and benefits.

Trainees & Apprentices

  • Scheduling reviews and managing documentation.
  • Supporting the annual trainee recruitment process.

Recruitment & Work Experience

  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with interview coordination and applicant tracking when required.
  • Managing work experience placements and CSR event participation.

General Support

  • Responding to employee queries.
  • Assisting with maternity leave, DBS checks, GDPR audits, and Lexcel inspection preparation.
  • Contributing to Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Organise quarterly review meetings for each team within the Firm, The role involves ad hoc travel to our other offices in Salisbury, Winchester, Bournemouth and Poole; therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.Are you looking to start your career in HR?
