Reports to: Sales Ledger Manager

Location: Glasgow, office based

Salary: Dependent on experience+

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)

What does a typical day sound like?

• Work closely with the sales ledger team to support their administrative needs
• Maintenance of large customer ledger
• Maintenance of factors portals/AX ledgers
• Calculation of commission for agents both UK and overseas
• Assist with all aspects of sales ledger work as required: credit control, resolving queries, processing payments in and allocation of cash, uploading to customers EDI systems
• Support the wider finance team, should the need arise
• Ad hoc finance project work

Experience/ Skills required

• Previous experience working within a finance team is essential
• Previous experience of working with Microsoft systems such as AX12/ Dynamics is advantageous but not required
• Ability to coordinate multiple administration tasks/ processes with tight deadlines and limited supervision
• Good organisational and time management skills
• IT literate
• Ability and desire to learn quickly and be adaptable
• Data entry skills in a fast-paced environment with a high-level of accuracy
• Would be suited to someone with previous finance admin or sales ledger experience
