Reports to: Sales Ledger/Reconciliation Manager

Location: Glasgow, office based

Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Role Overview

We are looking to add an assistant to our current sales ledger department. With a keen eye for detail, as a Finance Assistant you will aid in the recording of the sales transactions the business has made, ensuring the client has been invoiced correctly and on time as well as monitoring payments made to the business are in line with the invoices sent. You may be exposed to the three business streams of Wholesale, Retail and Ecommerce, so will be provided with an array of opportunity to develop and grow within your career. Furthermore, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic finance team, with a successful well-known brand.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience within a Sales Ledger Finance team
  • Sales ledger experience in Ecommerce
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Systems, more specifically Excel
  • Good attention to detail
  • Enjoy working in a busy team
  • Thrive working under pressure
  • Open to change and happy to work in a flexible environment
  • Experience of AX Dynamics 365 computer system would be an advantage but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the allocating and matching of payments and account reconciliations for the Wholesale and Web business units
  • Raise manual invoices and credit notes on our ecommerce system
  • Assist in various other tasks within the sales ledger department
