Ecommerce Executive Role Profile Reports to: Marketplace Manager Location: Glasgow, office based Salary: Dependent on experience Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm) Role Overview As an Ecommerce Executive, you will join a team where your role is vital to the success of the global ecommerce channels. You will be responsible for the creation, publishing, merchandising and optimisation of all digital content across our ecommerce channels. This an exciting opportunity to kick start a career within an innovative ecommerce team or to further enhance your existing experience in a successful well-known brand. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong knowledge of web and retail is keen to learn and progress within ecommerce. Could you be who we are looking for? Are you able to plan, co-ordinate and administer the product catalogue within an ecommerce platform? Do you enjoy working within web technologies and can produce relevant copy and text for a wide range of products? Do you have good working knowledge of Magento 2 ecommerce platform administration and a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, particularly excel? Have you or are you actively administering Google analytics and advertising platforms to improve ecommerce performance? Are you able to take initiative when addressing areas relating to products and are you a strong communicator with the ability to influence both verbally and written? Do you pride yourself in having a good attention to detail? Do you enjoy working in a busy team? What does a typical day sound like? Ensuring the web product catalogue is up to date and all products are correctly aligned to current campaigns. Ensure all on-site advertising, promotions and product merchandising is aligned with marketing campaigns. Liaising with buying and merchandising team on new product deliveries, promotions and bi-annual sale Reporting on all product centric KPIs to stakeholders and highlighting relevant opportunities to the team Working closely with technical teams & partners to support continuous improvement of ecommerce channels. Supporting the customer service team with daily tasks and resolving product issues highlighted or improving customer experience Daily website audits to ensure that site is optimised and performing to its full potential.
