Ecommerce Executive
Role Profile
Reports to: Ecommerce Lead
Location: Glasgow, office based
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)
Role Overview
As an Ecommerce Executive, you will play a key role in driving the success of our global ecommerce channels. You’ll be responsible for supporting the creation, publishing, merchandising, and optimisation of digital content across our online platforms.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on experience in SEO, PPC, and product merchandising while contributing to the growth of a successful and well-known brand. - Are you confident managing and maintaining product catalogues within an ecommerce platform?
- Do you have an interest in SEO and PPC, and a desire to learn how to use these tools to drive performance?
- Can you write engaging and accurate copy for a variety of products and campaigns?
- Do you have a good working knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Magento 2 experience is a bonus) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel?
- Have you used or are you keen to learn tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other digital advertising platforms?
- Do you pride yourself on attention to detail and enjoy working within a busy team environment?
- Are you proactive, a strong communicator, and comfortable working with different teams across the business?
What does a typical day look like?
- Managing and updating the product catalogue to ensure all products are live, accurate, and aligned with campaigns.
- Supporting on-site merchandising and ensuring promotions and product placements reflect current marketing activity.
- Assisting with SEO and PPC tasks – including keyword research, content optimisation, and supporting campaign setup.
- Liaising with buying and merchandising teams on new product launches, promotions, and seasonal activity.
- Reporting on product performance and KPIs, sharing insights and opportunities with stakeholders.
- Working with technical teams and partners to support the continuous improvement of ecommerce channels.
- Helping customer service by resolving product-related issues and contributing to a better customer journey.
- Conducting regular site audits to check performance, product visibility, and user experience.
