Overview

Designer β€” Trespass, Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop product designs
  • Produce detailed technical drawings
  • Select materials and finishes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with the overall product strategy
  • Ensure compliance with product safety and quality regulations
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are fulfilled

Qualifications

  • Strong design portfolio showcasing a range of products and design styles.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software.
  • Excellent sketching and hand rendering skills.
  • Experience with product design and development processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Experience in the apparel or outdoor industry is a bonus.

Typical day

  • Liaise with international suppliers.
  • Understand factory procedures.
  • Progress orders from inquiry to bulk approval using a critical path.
  • Work with the design team, both as part of a team and individually.
  • Work with trends and awareness of products in the clothing/footwear industry.
  • Manage garment specifications and sample processes.
  • Use design software (Adobe Illustrator).
  • Capable of handling technical and fit-related matters.
