Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Trespass specializes in outdoor clothing and equipment, including affordable skiwear, waterproof jackets, and walking boots.
Role Overview
As a Designer you will join a team where your role will be vital to the success of the operation so being collaborative is essential.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Designer. The Designer will be responsible for creating and developing product designs, producing detailed technical drawings, selecting materials and finishes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with overall product strategy, and ensuring compliance with product safety and quality regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity to kick start a career within design or to further enhance your existing experience in a successful well-known brand. Furthermore, you will be required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong design portfolio showcasing a range of products and design styles.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software.
- Excellent sketching and hand rendering skills.
- Experience with product design and development processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Organisational skills.
- Experience in the apparel or outdoor industry is a bonus.
What does a typical day sound like?
- You will be responsible for liaising with international suppliers.
- You will have an understanding of factory procedures.
- You will be expected to progress orders from inquiry to bulk approval using a critical path.
- Working closely with the design team/working as part of a team and individually.
- Working with trends and awareness of products in the clothing/footwear industry.
- You will be responsible for managing garment specifications and sample processes.
- Use your computer skills/knowledge and experience of using design software (adobe illustrator).
- You will be expected to be capable of handling technical and fit related matters.
