In order to strengthen our successful and growing sales team in the UK, we are looking for a qualified Territory Manager with passion, motivation and sales ambitions who will help us to expand our business in the North of UK, Eire and Scotland. Our focus is on architecture and design (A&D), developing project specifications, coordinating with the A&D community and key end users with the aim of generating and closing more sales. You will be part of an international team, very diverse and dynamic, where all contributions are valued.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- You are jointly responsible for the sales growth of our interior segment, like wall lining and furniture, in the North of UK, Eire and Scotland.
- You increase the sales volume by acquiring new projects and new customers.
- You maintain your network of existing customers and increase the sales volume with these and new potential customers.
- You acquire and share application and segment-specific market intelligence with your global team colleagues.
- You are responsible for annual volume and price targets as well as for long‑term, sustainable and profitable growth.
What do you bring?
- You have a bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or technical orientation, or equivalent knowledge and skills based on commercial training and professional experience.
- You have 3-5 years of related work experience – preferably in the specification process and sales of complex products – and a proven track record of delivering profitable growth.
- Experience of scientific applications such as laboratories, clean rooms and special healthcare applications is a plus.
- You are motivated, enthusiastic, independent, flexible and self‑disciplined.
- You like to be on the road a lot, and you are exceptionally good at building and maintaining customer relationships and networks.
- You have excellent didactic and communication skills and can inspire and motivate listeners.
- You have an affinity for numbers, are goal‑oriented and have a confident demeanour.
- You have good negotiation skills and are able to build long‑term relationships with clients, customers and partners.
- You are experienced in dealing with IT systems and programs (MS Office, CRM).
- Willingness to regularly travel for several days in the area.
- The ideal candidate preferably lives in the area of Great Manchester or Leeds.
