The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
You will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process and maintaining stringent control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will play a key role in the preparation of monthly financial statements, providing insightful analysis that will inform strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various teams to become a true Finance Business Partner, to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy. This position also involves the development and implementation of internal controls, as well as regular assessments of financial processes to identify areas for improvement. As the Company grows, there will also be a requirement to be hands on and take responsibility for month end transactions for specific entities within the group.
Job Opportunity
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and promptly.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare financial reports for various stakeholders, including management, regulatory bodies, and investors.
- Ensure closing for certain legal entities with proactive involvement in management accountant duties/tasks.

Essential Skills
- Proven experience in financial reporting and control within an accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial modelling tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Desired but not essential experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Preferably, a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, STEM subject or equivalent.
- Ideally, previous experience in FP&A but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel.
