Are you an experienced Calibration Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? We have opportunities for Calibration Engineers to operate from our Bristol or Birmingham UKAS Laboratories.
About the Role
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake calibration and measurements in accordance with UKAS Calibration procedures, Traceable calibration procedures as well as Customers specific requirements and specifications.
- Maintain all relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable format utilizing our calibration and database management Indysoft.
- Calibration of Measuring equipment in varying disciplines including: Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical DC & LF, Temperature, Torque, Pressure, Mass (list non exhaustive).
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Calibration Laboratory.
- Electrical Calibration DC/LF Equipment to UKAS Standards.
- An understanding of BS EN ISO 17025 and or UKAS Calibration procedures.
- Technical qualification such as HNC, NVQ/BTEC, or signatory status, or relevant experience.
- Knowledge and or previous experience of calibration practices and theories.
- Computer literate with a knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and or Indysoft.
- Experience of working within a Customer focused environment.
- Must be a Team Player.
