About the Role
Joining our team as a Logistics Operative you will be responsible for receiving and booking in of customers assets, dealing with third party couriers (National & International) including overseeing the movement of incoming and outgoing goods. You will ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.
Daily you will be responsible for:
Booking customers assets onto the Company management suite (EMS)
Be an integral part of the team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines
Dealing with Internal & External queries
Unpacking and checking deliveries against delivery paperwork and/or purchase orders
Schedule and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery
The safe & effective packing of assets for third party deliveries
Operate company vehicle for collections & deliveries as and when required
Raising and highlighting any variance between orders and deliveries
Supporting the administration team with logistical issues

Requirements
Ideally 5 GCSEs level 4 or higher or equivalent – essential to be numerate and literate
Computer literate
Driving Licence
Flexible and highly motivated individual with a desire to learn and progress
Ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload
