The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process and maintaining stringent control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will play a key role in the preparation of monthly financial statements, providing insightful analysis that will inform strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various teams to become a true Finance Business Partner, to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
Main Tasks / Accountabilities:
- Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
- Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Assist with the establishment, maintaining, and coordinating the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
- Analyse and review budgets and expenditures for business units.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Analyse revenue and expenditure trends.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Supervise and provide support and direction to other members of the team.
- Prepare and manage external statutory audit and financial statements.
- VAT, ROS & RTD Submissions.
- Assist with cashflow management and reporting.
- Prepare and submit results into group reporting package.
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and promptly.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare financial reports for various stakeholders, including management, regulatory bodies, and investors.
- Ensure closing for certain legal entities with proactive involvement in management accountant duties/tasks.
